The best

Breakfast was fair, continental. The building has a fantastic history , built in 1517. Lovely gardens and centrally located to city centre and restaurants.

“The place is amazing, it transport you to the past. It is full of gardens, the rooms in fact are not rooms, are small houses. It is calm,in the middle of the village and the attention was very personal. I loved it and my family as well. · Cons: It looks like it had better times and now it is just mantained to the minimum, but still is beautiful place. The breakfast was included but is very basic, it could include some bread rather than toasts from a package.”

“It was like a fairy tale. Amazing. I would have liked to stay longer. Restaurants and bars near bye 4mins walking. Swimming pool nice and relaxing in lovely grounds. Definitely will return”

“No aircon, poorly maintained but dog friendly.”

The manager was friendly and it’s a dog friendly hotel. The room was large. It is very, very quirky to say the least. I didn’t find it dirty though and the sheets were clean,

To be improved

No aircon or fan and it was 37oC. Lots of noise in the street, no shower curtain and the towels didn’t smell very fresh. We didn’t stay for breakfast due to other reviewers experiences. Overpriced. Horrible pillow (bolster).
