We had the most amazing time and plenty of privacy for our group of 9 at this villa ! Everything was so spacious and huge, we just wish there would have been some form of loungers/seating or something like that on the grass lawn as it was an amazing space !

The best

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. Great location, great situation, great views. In general, the main living areas - bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining area all clean, well presented and comfortable. For larger groups there is plenty of seating inside and outside, there are plenty of glasses, plates etc.

To be improved

The first thing is that there is no folder with hints regarding how appliances work, how to dispose of rubbish, what TV channels are available, how to find them and are no safety instructions. This sort of information has been invaluable in other villas. There is no fire blanket in the kitchen and no fire extinguisher anywhere, contrary to the villa details on Booking.com The BBQ facilities actually means the utensils needed to cook on a BBQ. There is no actual BBQ, contrary to the Villa details on Booking.com. There are signs that the villa lacks TLC everywhere. The boiler broke and took three weeks to repair, so no heating in the house and only the AC in one bedroom worked. This was an issue given the time of year we visited the villa. The boiler was repaired at the start of the fourth week, which was helpful given the atrocious weather. The freezer leaks and there is rust on some of the shelves. At least twice a day we needed to mop water from the floor. The lights are a nightmare to understand, learning which switch to use in order to make a light elsewhere come on. The same is similar for some of the electric sockets. Again, this is information which could be included in a folder of Villa information. There is no lock on the downstairs bathroom sliding door which means it can be opened from the outside. Accepting there is a wrought iron gate on the outside but that can easily be removed as the hinges are exposed. Although not a requirement for our stay, not all the electrics worked for the sun shades on the outside of the villa, the pool light didn’t work nor did the PIR. Julia was helpful and obviously eager to help us, we did manage to communicate through translation apps. It would be helpful to make it clear she does not speak English. It was not made clear on Booking.com that laundry services were not included and whilst we appreciated Julia carrying out those tasks it was only because we had no heating that we receive that concession.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the villa hosted by Colin and Julia. The property exceeded all expectations! The views are breathtaking, and the villa itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped with every detail you could need. We were warmly welcomed by Julia, who gave us a thorough tour and explained everything clearly, making us feel right at home from the start. The villa is incredibly spacious, with stylish interiors, comfortable bedrooms, and luxurious bathrooms. The living area is perfect for relaxing, and we even enjoyed a movie night on the TV. The location is fantastic—close to everything yet peaceful, with plenty of parking space available. This villa truly combines comfort, convenience, and elegance. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
