“Duck Hostel”

The best

Duck themed hostel in Cuenca, good value for the money, plenty of toilets and showers. They have coffee, cereal, toast and muffins in the mornings.

To be improved

Cuenca seems less traveled to by english speaking people, so they are less geared towards that, but its fine if you know the routine.

My room had a superb view of the historic part of the city and one night out of two on a weekend night in peak season, I had the 6 bed dorm to myself!

“Great location, walkable to everything! The included breakfast is nice to have, and it's a friendly little place, with some Enflish spoken by staff. The toilets and showers are all completely enclosed, rather than a line of stalls, and the lockers under the beds are good and robust, though you'll need your own lock. · Cons: The dorm was a little small for the number of people, which might have been a problem if we'd had more luggage.”

“Small beds in good location”

The location is close to the old city center. Bed had curtains.

To be improved

The bed felt very small. I am 180cm and laying on my back my feed and my head very constrained by the bed frame. The hinges of my locker were broken and parts of the shower screens were missing.
