Grupotel Aldea Cala'n Bosch

A small hotel with low rise buildings. rooms are comfortable and well equipped. good WiFi reception. Two clean pools. Direct access to sandy beach. Food was good quality and varied.....fresh grill every night, comprehensive breakfast. Where this hotel really excels is the staff are so helpful and efficient. We had a bit of a medical problem with our granddaughter and the staff response was brilliant in meeting our needs. We went on the last week of October and the resort was largely closed so if you plan to go off season you should go half board as the choice of restaurants and bars was very limited. Easy access to main town on public transport and supermarkets near by.

Excellent location, as long as you are reasonably mobile. Spread over a generous area, and anyone with mobility issues may struggle with upstairs apartments as steps to first floor rooms are quite steep. Less than ten minutes walk to the marina area, where the restaurants and bars are based. Access to closest beach via a small and partially hidden footpath (probably three minutes walk over sandy surface) and about 15 minutes to the next beach via rocky coastal walk. All very scenic. Pools are well maintained and not too busy (in October). The room was excellent (I say room, it was more like an apartment). Kitchen facilities were enough to self cater if on a budget. Enough space to sit at the table to eat should you wish to. Everything was spotless with comfortable furniture. TV had plenty of British channels if that's your thing. All staff were professional and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and compared favourably with any other buffet style breakfast I've experienced. Plenty of choice every day. No complaints whatsoever and we're already talking of booking again next year (something we've never done before).

We have just returned from staying at the Aldea! We had a great time. The one bedroom apartment was perfect, we stayed in room 37 which was land facing but so quiet. Plenty of storage/cupboard space and well stocked kitchen for the self catering option. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was good, plenty of different types of food, fresh pancake and omelette station. The only slight niggle was the orange juice wasn’t good, but by the end of the week appeared a fresh orange juice station which was fab. The food/drink in the snack bar/bar was great value for money. For a glass of Sangria was 5 euros and you didn’t need too many to feel tipsy! The service from all staff was great, they were all friendly, helpful and all worked so hard. A special mention for Natalie who mostly worked in the snack bar/bar when we saw her- thank you for the fab service. Just a perfect location for the 2 beaches and marina. A 30 second walk through the trees for the bar and you were on the beach. Perfect for watching the sunset at the end of the day. Highly recommend walking the beach way to the marina via the board walk and bridge, so quick. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a week at the gruphotel Aldea menorca, a lovely hotel, every member of staff was great, only went bed and breakfast which had lots of choice and a fresh omelette making station, they have two pools and plenty of sunbeds, they have a private pathway onto the beach and it's a 5 minute walk to the harbour which is surrounded by bars and restaurants, the coasal walks are close by but they are not for the faint hearted, the buses are around 1 per hour but you can get a taxi to citudella for around 15 euros, we would definitely stay there again.

Really lovely hotel with really excellent breakfast and dinner, you would have to be exceptionally fussy if you found nothing to eat here. Suites really lovely. Staff very attentive when we needed help with our luggage. Really close to the Marina and beach. Would definitely recommend.

Pure relaxation with a hint of luxury. I love this hotel. The location was perfect- right by a beautiful white sandy beach where you could swim and snorkel. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was fitted out to a very high standard. The rooms were spotless with high quality furnishings. The WiFi at the hotel was excellent. The pool was very deep and quite cold but perfect to cool off in. We loved it. There were loads of sun loungers by the pool and no one reserved them which was really good. The food was outstanding! Special mention to the chef Eve who made the sushi- we were very impressed. Every night there was a different theme with different chefs show casing their skills. It was an absolute treat! We were half board and coffee juice were included with breakfast but had to pay for drinks with evening meal. We aren’t big drinkers so was not a huge added expense for us. The evening entertainment was low key but again it didn’t bother us. Overall I highly recommend this hotel if your looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. It suited us well. We will be back!
