The hotel is lovely with a slight colonial feel. The staff are very friendly and always ready to engage in conversation. The weather wasn’t the best whilst we were there but that didn’t spoil our holiday as the hotel rooms and communal areas were very comfortable. The hotel has a great position being only a few minutes walk from the beach and marina with all of its bars and restaurants. The pool area is great with lots of comfortable sun beds available.

Very nice hotel, spacious suites, separate bedroom, lounge (which can so sleep 2 more people), good bathroom with 2 showers and a bath. Fully equipped kitchen. Entertainment a few nights. Very good breakfast. Less than 5 minutes to beach, 5 minutes to marina with bars and restaurants. Good size pool. Friendly staff.

We have just returned from a ten-night stay and absolutely loved the hotel. We had a very spacious suite overlooking the pool, very clean, and with comfortable beds. The food was excellent and, although we had only booked bed and breakfast, we ate dinner in the restaurant several times and were impressed by the quality and wide range of different dishes. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and we really couldn’t fault them. All in all, a great holiday and we are already planning our next visit!

Just had a lovely two week holiday. We were greeted with a friendly smile and check in was quick. The receptionist was only small and helped us down a small flight of stairs with our suitcases. I think a porter would be better to help. The room/ apartment was spacious and comfortable. There were 2 balconies and 2 TV'S. The kitchen was well equipped, so very handy for making lunch( we were half board) The bathroom was a little outdated and there was a step up to the toilet and shower which I thought could be dangerous if you forgot the step was there or if it was wet. There was plenty of sunbeds around the pool so no sunbed wars here. Although the pool was cold, but to be expected for October. The food was very good and plenty of choice. Augustin and team are a credit to the hotel. A special thank you to Ania and Antonio who looked after us and also a mention to Desiree and Cynthia. The harbour is only a 5 minute walk around the corner to the hotel where there are plenty of restaurants and a few bars if you prefer to do bed and breakfast. There are some nice walks if you like walking. You can walk along the headland where you can get some lovely views and photos. There is entertainment in the hotel if you prefer and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Our only gripe was the room cleaning. Our room was always the last one of the day to be cleaned and it seemed as if it was done in a hurry. The bed was made and toilet was cleaned but I don't think the floors were mopped over all the time we were there. Apart from that, everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay. What can be said about this lovely hotel that hasn't been already said, which is why we booked it and why we're booking it again next year. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Staff so friendly. Our room was groundfloor with a pool view block B and spacious. Great to have a separate shower to the bath as I've mobility issues. Kitchen was very equipped and a spacious roomy apartment and bedroom. Very convenient location for marina and beach. Buses too. Breakfast was great so much choice. We did b&b. Convenient supermarket next door. Alas, there's only one teeny niggle. The hotel could do with a porter to help with cases on arrival and departure as we found the only route to the reception up a stairs a struggle being senior citizens. No apparent lift? Please correct if wrong Maracella as we loved you. Highly recommend though.
