“Excellent hotel! Few minor improvements to make it almost perfect.”

The best

Hotel is modern and very clean. All staff, from reception to the restaurant, are welcoming and attentive. Rooms are spacious and fresh. There are 2 pools and poolside area is lovely - plenty of sunbeds and a general rule of no reserving, so there is no mad morning rush of placing towels. Food at the pool restaurant was surprising - lots of choice, good portion sizes and delicious. Hotel is in a great location - beach, shops and restaurants are all within close walking distance. There are bus links nearby, however a taxi to Alcudia Port is only 10 minutes and approx €12.

To be improved

Breakfast was underwhelming - I would expect better quality for this type of hotel. There is a gym, but it’s small with only one treadmill, bike and cross-trainer so the space can become cramped quite quickly and waits for equipment. The indoor pool and downstairs surrounding area is very hot - aircon is needed as it feels uncomfortable. You receive a pool towel at the start of your stay and this is only replaced if you pay - I think it was only €2 but nevertheless, an unnecessary charge.

We liked restaurant breakfest and dinner very much. Huge variety. Location in the hotel was calm enough, hotel was located near the beach, restaurants, shops.

To be improved

Safe costs could be included in the booking coast.

The best

The breakfast buffet was amazing. Close to the beach .Room was nice but the pillows were kinda firm. The spa access was great! We enjoyed our stay.

“A peaceful stay with great adult pools, but let down by an uncomfortable bed and cleanliness issues.”

The best

The breakfast was decent overall. Having two adult pools was a big plus, it was never too crowded, and we could really relax without being bothered by others, which is quite rare during high season.

To be improved

The bed was very uncomfortable, especially the pillows. They were oddly small and extremely thin, definitely not proper sleeping cushions. The pool also didn’t feel very clean. Maybe that’s normal for Mallorca, but it stood out to me.

“We recommend!”

The best

We really enjoyed our stay at Grupotel Maritimo! The hotel is close to the beach, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, we loved the themed evenings, and having beach towels provided was a great bonus! We liked that we had outdoor & indoor pool with no extra costs. Unlike others, we had no issues with the pillows. You can choose to skip room cleaning and receive a voucher for drinks, which is a nice sustainability effort.

To be improved

The room didn’t really feel like 4 stars – a bit outdated and had a slight unpleasant smell. Some upgrades would really help improve the overall experience. No smart TV so you can't connect to Netflix, etc. Maybe they should consider new mini-fridge as well.

“Amazing stay”

The best

This was our second time in this hotel. We loved it, everything is so convenient and it makes your stay relaxing which you always want. Receptionists are always so kind and friendly. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, and service is great (shout out to Rosa who is amazing!). Plenty of parking space in case you rented a car.
