Grupotel Tamariscos

Had a great time, the location couldn't be better and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is a little dated but has everything you need. Would go again for sure.

Lovely hotel, great location, staff from the cleaners through to reception, restaurant, bar are so friendly and welcoming. This was our second visit and we'll definitely be back. It is a 3 star, some others have said rooms are a bit tired but as we didn't spend much time in ours it didn't bother us. Breakfast is really good, plenty of choice for meat eaters and veggies. I'm sure I also saw gluten free options but if you need that please check! Few minutes from supermarkets and the marina where you'll find a good selection of restaurants. The bus stop is really close by too. It's a couple of euros to Ciutadella which is definitely worth a visit. Close to a small beach and a lovely head land walk to the next resort Son Xoriguer. We travel in October, the hotel and resort is closing down for the season. The local supermarkets have basic supplies but don't appear to restock on certain items (we're assuming because of the ending of the season). As the weather also becomes a bit more unpredictable the regular boat trips schedule ends at the end of September (there were trips running on calmer days) If you want it a bit more lively then I'd definitely consider a different month.

Brilliant location. Breakfast was a delight. Didn’t need lunch. Lots of restaurants at the nearby marina. Hotel room which had a sea view and balcony was very slightly dated but fantastically clean. Have no complaints at all. Really hoping we can go back next year but for a longer stay. Definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel and super friendly staff. Second visit here and will return. Situation is great for all restaurants. Nice quiet area too.

We spent a very happy 3 nights at the Tamariscos. The best part was the view from our room. Stunning panoramic view from the lighthouse across the sea to the beach. . Also stand out for us was the staff. Every single one was friendly and went out of their way to help. The breakfast was also amazing. There was hot and cold everything, even sparkling wine and smoked salmon. The 2 pools were great, quiet in September and no kids. The sun beds faced the sea and we saved 21 euros a day by not paying for beds on the beach ,just ambling down the 2 minute walk to the sea. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the beautiful marina where there is a vast choice of restaurants. I could not recommend the Tamariscos more.

We first visited Tamariscos in June with our family and enjoyed it so much that we booked again for September. The location is perfect, right on the beach. Breakfast was superb, with excellent choices. The staff are so welcoming and make the holiday extra special.
