Tips for future guests Don’t worry about the phone number that you ring to get into the main door on arrival. It’s not a real number where you speak to someone, it just operates the door. However the main door was never locked for the whole of our stay. The key safe: I’d have still been trying to get in now if my friend wasn’t already familiar with the box lol. The part that looks like a small glass screen slides down, you then can centre the code and press down on both black buttons and pull forward to fully open the box The information link you get sent including WiFi: The WiFi password was incorrect in this link but the correct password is on the information sheet on the wall in the entrance doorway. The information sheet also states that the hot water instructions are in the utility room. I think this may be outdated as there are no instructions, but there was constant hot water. There is a mop and bucket in the utility. You will need this to mop the kitchen floor each time the shower in the bathroom next door is used as there is some kind of leak that floods through. If you’re arriving late make sure you take some water with you. We couldn’t find a shop that was open to buy water from nearby. We had to pay €8 from a bar that was closing for 4 small bottles The apartment is bright and spacious and looks newly painted. It’s in a fab location really central. Both bathrooms were fine with good showers. We were two couples staying there and it was plenty big enough not to get on top of each other. I gave the airport taxi the address, he glanced at it and took us straight there no problem. I ordered an uber as we left from outside the building and again picked the address straight up fab. If I was unsure of the way back to the apartment I just put a nearby business into google ‘ Lamar’ and that got me back to the apartment.

To be improved

I’d just say the apartment could do with a really good deep clean getting into the nitty gritty corners etc. Needs new bathroom bins too as they’re nasty and the fact that they don’t have bin liners in them is probably what’s caused it. The blanket for the bed was dutty with some awful very suspicious stains and marks on it. Sorting these issues would make the world of difference. It’s the first time I’ve been in a private apartment where I haven’t had a mobile number for the host. That made me feel nervous as the only way of contact was booking.com messages and you can’t send photos on there. However that said, he was mostly good at getting back to me quickly. Bottom line would I stay again? Yes

“Overall we had a comfortable stay however despite contacting our host to say the kettle wasn’t working on our first day”

Beds and lounge furniture was very comfortable.

To be improved

Kitchen was a bit outdated and the kettle didn’t work. Also for the last 2 days we had no hot water.
