“Great location near Las Salinas natural pools and harbor restaurants”
The best

Excellent location and a very nice apartment. Close to harbour with it many restaurants, fish market, and the natural Las Salinas swimming pools. Agaete historical centre is 10-15 minutes by foot. A smaller and a larger supermarket is also close by. A good base for shorter hikes from Agaete, including to the magnificent Guayedra wild beach. Also a good base for hikes starting from San Pedro. However if you are planning to do hiking in the central Gran Canaria (Tejeda basin or Tamadaba forest), it may be better to stay there - although it looks close on the map, it takes quite a bit of time to reach those trails by car on the winding mountain roads.

To be improved

A couple of appliances in the kitchen did not work, but the host (agency) promised to take care of these for the next guests. At any rate, this did not detract from our overall very good experience. Not a negative per se, but be prepared for quite detailed and thorough online check-in process, having all the travel documents for all of the guests ready. Also a hint - check-in works best on portable devices or computers with touch screens, as you need to physically sign the check-in form.
