Guggenheim

The apartment was large, with one front bedroom and three in the back. It was a good location for access to the river and Guggenheim museum. We had good responsiveness to our inquiries via whatsapp. Interparking Plaza Euskadi was a couple of blocks away and worked well for us. Bakery downstairs was good for breakfast (with window open, front bedroom is overwhelmed with bakery smells in the early morning).

The location is super! The apartment is on the first floor of a nicely renovated block of flats in 1 min walk to the Guggenheim museum. The street, the neighborhood is excellent, full with nice breakfast places (e.g. Bertiz right below the apt), restaurants, tapas bars. Even the shopping street in Abandon is in its close vicinity. All attractions are within easy walking distance: Guggenheim, the old city, the funicular, the Iberdrola tower, the San Mames stadium. We had a rented car, which we could park in the Euskadi parking garage next to the Guggenheim. The apartment was nicely furbished, comfortable for two families with its 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beds were super-comfy. At first, we were afraid that it was noisy from the street, but it turned out that no noise came in (however, in one morning, the neighbor was extreme loud, especially because the wall btw the two firstfloor flats is super-thin). Only small things were missing from the apartment: hangers in the bathrooms, coat hangers in the hall, bigger and more practical wardrobes in the sleeping rooms. All in all, it was an excellent choice for a 5 night stay with friends in this gorgeous city.
