“Best Hotel”
Great clean hotel.Lovely staff and going twice next year.Being able to get mobility scooter makes it all the better.Love it.
“Fantastic stay.”
Lovely hotel, great rooms, 3 super pools. varied & delicious food. We had full board which was great. Hotel nearby to beach, promenade & shops. Went on a day trip with Jet 2 to Barcelona which was amazing. The staff everywhere in hotel were polite, helpful & friendly. The only downer was that there were no coffee making facilities & only drinks served at breakfast, the other meals we had to pay for bottled water. But even with that would definitely return there for another holiday. Possibly in 2026. The evening entertainment were mostly fantastic along with the staff introducing the acts. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially the bonus of being Adults only.
“Clean rooms and Friendly Staff”
This was a lovely hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms and in a good location. The hotel itself is card only, although cash can be used to top up your wristband which doubles as your door key. The rooftop pool was incredibly busy as expected, however, there were plenty of loungers around the ground floor pools.
“A Fantastic Stay at H10 Delfín!”
I had an amazing experience at H10 Delfín and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and attractions. There’s even a supermarket directly opposite the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is spotless, with a high standard of cleanliness throughout. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Now, let’s talk about the food—wow! Every meal was delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food was consistently impressive. Overall, H10 Delfín offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday: great food, ideal location, clean facilities, and wonderful staff. I’ll definitely be returning!
“Disappointing”
Good location, supermarket and bars across the road . Feel as if anyone off the street can walk in , no security. Meals disappointing, mainly English food and tables were not cleared , especially at breakfast, had to clear your own table in order to sit down due to understaffing . Evening Entainment was good but not enough seats , so some guests had to sit outside. Special mention to Saul who was very friendly and efficient in the bar . No kettle for tea/coffee making in bedroom. We paid extra for a pool view but unless you stood up on the balcony you couldn't see anything which was disappointing . Didn't use the swimming pool as it was freezing. Tv worked but only foreign channels , even the main one in the lounge didn't work. Most of this is negative , but we feel things could be improved
“Disappointing Delfin.”
Having stayed at the Delphin previously we looked forward to our 2 week holiday. We paid for a private transfer as the last time the coach dropped us round the corner from the hotel which was inconvenient. We were dropped at the entrance so better this time. The room was at the back of the hotel but as the entertainment was extremely loud at the front we chose a room looking onto other apartments and a car park. The beds were comfortable with a choice of pillows. The first issue was when we went down to breakfast the first day and being allergic to dairy I asked Matilde and older woman with dark hair in a ponytail for dairy free. Her English was poor and she kept saying no understand so I put the phrase into my phone and she laughed and said no. I found this rather rude but this was just the start of her poor skills and manners. After breakfast I went to reception and spoke to the manager who apologised and arranged for them to buy Alpro from a supermarket so I could have my usual breakfast. The next day I asked Matilde for Alpro and she walked away without a word and then one of the other girls brought it out. We returned to our room that night and the bed had a big bump. This was due to the maid not pulling the mattress topper flat. This became an issue every time the bed was made. We had to remake the bed after they did. We went 6 days without the toilet roll being replaced and were almost out of the second one so asked a girl in the corridor and she said sorry I don’t do your side I just do this side and left to tidy a room. My husband had to take one from her cart. We found a dirty bucket and mop on our veranda which stayed there for 2 days. The meals were really limited. Most things had sauces and were tepid at best. We were half board and went out most nights after seeing what was on offer. The hotel used to light up the entrance and it was really pretty but this was no longer the case. The walls were paper thin and you could hear our neighbours go to the toilet. Our last week was torture as we had a lady who wore stiletto heels from 6 in the morning until midnight. She would pace from one side of the room to the other and the noise was unbearable. We asked at reception if they could ask her to take the shoes off. The noise continued so it would appear they didn’t. We went to see what was for dinner one evening and no one was manning the desk. After waiting a few moments behind another couple we (along with 3 other couples) just walked in. We were challenged by a small man who seemed to be struggling to do his job. He rudely explained he would seat us. This happened on more than a few occasions and it would appear when the restaurant is busy manners go out of the window. At breakfast Matilde would shout scuse and aggressively push a trolley filled with cups in the middle of the tea/coffee queue. The better option would be for her to push the trolley round the side straight to the cup area but she interrupted the queue every morning. The cups sat in the next bay so there was no need for the queue to be interrupted. No please or thank you. Aldo who served the drinks had great English always said please and thank you and conversed whilst getting our drinks. He is much better suited to welcome guests as his warm personality and people skills shone through. The evening entertainment can be heard at the back of the hotel as the music is so loud. If it was authentic Spanish entertainment it would be better than a mispronounced Brother Hood of Man ‘Save all your kisses for me.’ There are no English tv channels. We asked at reception and the maintenance guy showed us how to change the language on CNN but American news is the only tv we had which was not ideal. There were two lifts which for the whole hotel and one kept going off. It would be fixed in the morning but then be broken again by the afternoon. People would put towels on beds by the pools and go away for the day but all that was done was a big board saying don’t leave towels on sunbeds. In other hotels the lifeguard usually removes the towels if people aren’t back after a couple of hours. We would not return to the Delphin as the standards have dropped so much from our last visit. There are so many hotels to choose from in Salou it would not be hard to find a better one.
