“perfect holiday”
we joined our grandkids a few days into their holiday and everything was brilliant they had a wonderful time and there were no complaints from any of the family
the only thing slightly lacking was the number of shade umbrellas around the pool area as at the time of our visit temp got above 30 degrees possibly a few extra ones that could be moved to allow constant shade from the sun especially for the young children
“AMAZING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY”
My stay at the H10 Mediterranean Village was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience I've ever had! From the moment I arrived, I was met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The receptionist, Claudio, was fantastic, setting a positive tone for the entire stay. The friendly environment extended to all the staff, especially the entertainment team. A big shout-out to Alex, Nico, Sabit, Lewis,Lucia and the rest of the crew for their incredible energy and the fun activities they held. They truly made the pool area a blast! I'm already missing the amazing energy of the entire team,! Thank you all for making my day so special!
“Disgusting treatment from some management and other staff prior the the death of our mother in this hotel”
A decent 3* hotel maybe 4* in some areas like the reception area and WC's Rooms decent but very noisy as they look over the pirate ship entertainment or the splash park. Something a bit strange about it though. Security guards on approach treat everyone with suspicion unless you wear the wristband (these open your room and you can run a bar tab up on it because they don't take cash) The general feeling is that they are the 'premier hotel's in the area and only wristband wearers are welcome. Therefore anybody else are unwelcome, insignificant or some sort of threat to their 'special place' It's really not very nice There's a hotel next door, (sun club) extremely welcoming to everyone with much better facilities and very friendly staff. No security guards needed plus they have a little supermarket attached. It's (back on med village) on a hill and coaches aren't allowed up so it's an uphill walk with your cases and wheelchairs if you're lucky enough to have one but even if you have,it's a challenge. Getting about is zero with any mobility issues due to the steep hills and access. Kids club !! The whole region knows when this starts because it's so loud. 3 times a day 125db of announcements and cheesy music coming at you from all angles All of the above I can cope with no problem but.... The attitude of some of the reception and security staff towards my family is unforgivable We went as a family of 6 (grandparents, parents and 10yr old but we stayed just up the hill in a different hotel because the med was full) My mum was eventually taken to hospital after countless attempts to see her in her room but was denied by hotel staff, quite aggressively at times btw. She passed away in tarragona hospital a few hours later having spent days in her room without us being allowed to see her. Hotel policy apparently. We have given H10 opportunity to respond but have had nothing so far Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not Gaz UK
“Great hotel! Would go back!”
Great hotel! Id seen some reviews leading up to us going and it worried me but didn’t need to be!! Maids came everyday if we wanted them too, hotel very clean, food was lovely with a great variety and choice! Staff very friendly. The only one issue I had was the evening entertainment wasn’t great, but it didnt affect our holiday in any way! Location was quiet which was good for us. We had a lovely 10 days!
“A truly wonderful hotel”
There is so much I could say about this wonderful hotel that it's difficult to know where to start. Situated in Cap Salou it's perfect for people who like to explore but don't want to stay in slightly busier areas like Salou. It is just five minutes from the BusPlana offices where you have access to one of the best public transport networks I've ever used. A cheap and reliable service that runs from early in the morning until late at night. It is also just five minutes away from a beautiful secluded little cove that is easily accessible although wheelchair users might need some assistance. There are wide, but shallow steps as well as a rail for those who need it Also within a ten to fifteen minutes walk there are a choice of restaurants, supermarkets and tourist shops as well as a local pharmacy. The hotel is immaculate. A bright, modern hotel with a choice of indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, sauna and entertainment every afternoon and evening. The staff are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feel extremely welcome. The hotel is run like clockwork and everything is seamless and efficient. The rooms are spacious with a private verandah that is shielded from your neighbour allowing a welcome area to relax in privacy. Bathroom has both a shower and a bath and the obligatory bidet. The one thing we noticed as disabled people was that the mattresses are firmer than we are used to. I think this might be cultural. We simply used our duvets as mattress toppers and if we were to return we would ask if they had specific mattress toppers. This should not be seen as a criticism but instead as an observation for people who may have musculoskeletal problems. Now I come to the main thing. The food. Viktor the chef is a genius and deserves a Mitchelin Star. His menus are incredible. Every meal was a true culinary delight and he runs his kitchen effortlessly. I have never been so impressed with a chef anywhere before but I cannot emphasise enough just how good he is. This is a wonderful hotel and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and one I would love to return to even if we're just for the food. Overall this is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. I loved every minute.
