“Great Property”
Great property and rooftop. Great location by Retiro Park. Restaurant food is very good as well. Only complaint is a Spain and Portugal thing limiting how cool your room can be. We found sleeping as too warm. Would definitely stay at H10 again.
“El Cielo de Alcala Rooftop”
There is not much outside to tell you what to expect but the views from the top were actually pretty good. The journey across the hotel reception and lobby bar was confusing with staff avoiding eye contact. Once we got upstairs we were given a table by the side of the pool. Service was mediocre and focusing on serving just one drink, no upsell or offer of a second drink. No coasters or nuts were provided but we saw some other tables were given them highlighting a consistency issue. There is a clear lack of attention to detail but the good views compensate for it.

“Thoroughly enjoyable stay”
We stayed for 4 nights on a golf break to Madrid. We found the hotel clean, the staff friendly and helpful (special mention to Eva who helped us with a refund on our Madrid Bus Tour tickets - thank you Eva!) We only ate breakfast in the restaurant, offering an excellent choice of food and refreshments. The rooftop bar is a great place for a beer or coffee with cracking views across the city. I would definitely stay here again.
“Great facilities with a couple Insulting Vulgar Front Lobby Staff”
My family and I recently stayed at the hotel for the second time within a year. Our first visit, with a group of nine, was a very positive experience, which is why we chose to return—this time as a group of six. Btw, plenty of other stays in this chain before on business and pleasure. Overall, the hotel itself continues to meet expectations. The facilities, rooms, and general experience were excellent. Unfortunately, this stay was significantly overshadowed by our experience with the front desk staff. During check-in on the morning of Sunday, March 22, we were asked for identification. My wife immediately placed all three passports on the counter, clearly visible. Despite this, the staff member asked for them again. When my wife calmly pointed to the passports already in front of her, the staff member made a highly offensive vulgar insulting remark about my wife to a colleague, calling her a “bxxxh/pxxxa,” within earshot. This was not a misunderstanding or a matter of tone—it was a direct, explicit insult. It was shocking, deeply disrespectful, and completely unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in hospitality. No guest should ever be subjected to that kind of treatment. Additionally, during check-out on the morning of Tuesday, March 24, I politely asked for some water, as none was available in the lobby. The same staff responded dismissively, stating, “This is a lobby, there is no water,” in a tone that came across as rude and unhelpful. While the hotel itself remains very good, the behavior we experienced from the front desk staff—particularly the verbal insult directed at my wife—left a very negative impression and is the main reason we would hesitate to return. We strongly encourage management to address this issue, as this level of disrespect toward guests is unacceptable and does not reflect the otherwise positive qualities of the hotel.
“A perfect stop for a few days in Madrid”
Well appointed, very clean, excellent breakfast bar, centrally located, close to Metro.
