This is more of a flat share with the owner, who is the perfect host. He will try his best to accommodate all your needs and is a very friendly guy. You have a kitchen to use, free wifi. A pool which we didn’t have time to use. The flat is within a secure gated entry area and you are sharing with locals. So it’s like an Airbnb. But the price is really competitive given that you’re in the capital and about 7 stops away on their Metro from the equivalent of Leicester Square and Oxford St in London. The nearest Metro (San Fermin-Orcasur on Line 3, the yellow line) is 5 mins walk away so not far at all and costs around 2 euros for a single trip pretty much anywhere on there metro system. Also, you have a supermarket about 2-3mins walk away. The area is safe, local families can be seen out in the local park areas often late at night. Little kids clearly don’t sleep early here. 11:30pm they’re still outside! Not all of them of course but is not an uncommon sight either.

To be improved

Wasn’t clear that it was more of Airbnb from the start, but turned out well. So don’t expect a reception as it’s not a hotel/hostel. And you have to call the host upon arrival because you have no idea what to press on the external intercom at the gate entrance to announce your arrival. Would be nice if all of this was explained on the booking.com site. Would use WhatsApp call instead next time. But either way you need roaming data or something like that available to get in touch with the owner upon arrival.

“Exceptional”

The best

Owner very friendly and easy to get on with. As we stayed in the hotel while going to a festival, we picked this place to unwind after 3 crazy days from it all. Which was perfect. A lot of restaurants are close and have a great little pub attached to the building.
