“Useful to be able to park at the property and catch the Funicular, which was literally next door, down into the town. This did cost an extra 50€ in all for the 48 hours but made things easier for us. The lady I spoke to and messaged whilst at the property (sorry I have forgotten your name) couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful.”

“Would definitely return again if in the area”

Location, decoration, quirkiness, facilities, connectivity, proximity to the Funicular - all good!

To be improved

The only downside was that the electric gate kept beeping late into the night and kept us awake. I eventually had to ring the manager and report the fault

“A nice surprise”

The best

Located on Artxanda mountain, it is very close to Bilbao city center, a nice place to stay specially if u like nature and beautiful views. I went to Guggenheim walking downhill (45min) and came back using the funicular. You can park for free close to the funicular entry and access the property thru the door near the funicular.

To be improved

Keys. You receive a lot of keys of the doors property. It is not a deal breaker, but it can be improved with digital locks or by using same keys for outside doors.

“Special location, comfortable room and bed, good facilities. Fun to take the cable train, remember that last one runs at 22:00, but a taxi from center costs only 12eu · Cons: Unfortunately we had no view from the window, room was on the first floor.”
