The smell, it was really bad air in the house, like very old people lived there for a 100years, but it was young couple with a kid, disgusting smell and and the house

When I arrived it turned out that the room I booked is actually a spare bedroom in the flat where this family lives. It's stated in the description that among the facilities in this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. The whole family was always in the living room so I was provided with no privacy whatsoever when outside my room. The main host's partner works from home and his office is based in the living room so there was no way for me to comfortably stay in the "shared lounge" as there was constantly someone in there. When I wanted to use the bathroom I was required to walk past the living room. The living room door was always open, I was constantly exposed to the hosts' presence which felt extremely uncomfortable. In my opinion the facility's description is highly misleading. Hosts are very nice however it's definitely not a place for someone who expects at least a minimum level of privacy.

I struggled a little with the cooker, although the hosts were willing to help, and there is a technique to ensuring that there is hot water coming out of the shower, but again, the hosts are happy to help with this.
