Even if the barrio might look a little ... uncomfortable the first time one arrives there, it was a nice, safe and quiet place to stay. 👍🏼 The same applies by the way to Pilar, the person in charge. 🙂 Once a visitor realizes that the energetic temperament and the verbal presence of quite a few locals in the service sector generally in Bilbao is simply their way of being and talking, one can be confident that locals in general and Pilar in particular 😌 are persons you can talk with and happily willing to cooperate. 👍🏼

I loved how conveniently located this property is. It is only a few steps away from buses, stores and small restaurants. Our room had a small balcony big enough to sit two people enjoying a meal while facing a beautiful park by the river, the sound of which was very nice, especially at bedtime. The continuous chirping of the birds was a big plus for us. I met the host, Pilar when I arrived, and she was very nice and helpful. Some might consider the toom a bit small, but for us it was very clean and comfortable.
