“Perfect ending of our holiday in Bilbao”

The best

Shey is a wonderful host. Everything in the apartment is very tastefully and thoughtfully done. Location is super and the apartment is very clean.

To be improved

I heard the host is thinking to rent private parking spots for guests as from next season. That would have gained us 20 extra minutes of holiday instead of searching for a free place on the streets ;)

“Well below expectations”

The best

The location was really good as the old town is just a small walk away. The room itself was ok and clean, same goes for the living room.

To be improved

When we arrived we said that we would be there at 19:30. The person who let us in was their around 19:50 so we had to wait a while. The guy was really nice and showed us around and gave us the keys. However, the owner of the apartment told me that I should have texted here my arrival time to het and the guy who let us in. Which is weird as we updated them when we boarded our flight and once we landed. The apartment also has a kitchen which you are told not to use which is a bit weird in my opinion. When we asked the day after if we could use the oven it was all of a sudden ok to use the kitchen. However, during the week we noticed that the owner wanted us to stop cooking so she cut the power supply to the oven and microwave without consulting us first. One additional note is that the owner sometimes sleeps on the couch in the living room which can be a bit uncomfortable. Furthermore , you share the apartment with other people who are staying there which is not clearly stated in the description. Lastly, I would suggest to get rid of the scenting sticks as the smell is not that nice. Overall, we believe the owner should give a better description of what people are allowed to use and provide a complete list of facilities.
