That it was dated & needed an upgrade..lights in hallway didn't work. Bolts on bathroom doors were rusty and u had to put ur body up against the door to bolt it!. Instructions firstly did not say which way to go out of apartment. I gt lost a few times. Not good Instructions. No mirror in my room. Towels were smelly & old plus sheets. Both showers were broken & no plug for bath...

I had a two week stay in San Vincent as I traveled for work in the University. As I had a morning Saturday flight I found it not very convenient to get to the airport from San Vincent. This was the reason why I booked this place. I needed something cheap as it was for one night and close to the bus stop. Did not bother reading reviews (just checked the total score as sometimes cheap places can really be bad). This place was good enough and I was perfectly satisfied. Could have easily put 10 as all these scores are relative but took away one point for the host who did not arrive on time and had to wait about 15 min. at narrow pavement. Another -1 is for a bit uncomfortable room. Host provided a fan but it was not enough. The problem is that you can not open the window as it is very noisy from neighbors and the fan itself can not cope when it is +34 during a day and +24durign a night. I think this place could be very good for spring or autumn and if I have a chance to be in Alicante this time I may return.

I have nothing new to add. Great host, great location, and the accommodation is certainly good value for money. I would go there again and risk noisy neighbours .

To be improved

The only significant issue that I experienced on my first, of three nights was a young couple in the next room, waking me up at 1 a.m., and making much noise until 5 am. It was not a great first night! Also, it was very hot, and the only way to keep it bearable at night was a fan and having the windows open... and hearing the noisy neighbours!
