“Comfortable and convenient stay”

The best

It's my second time coming here and overall it's a great location and the apartments are comfortable and have everything you need. If it's sunny you can enjoy the lovely pool and outside area, but the pool is not heated so probably not useable for winter. The staff are also very responsive and helped us on various occasions. The kitchen is very well equipped, it even has an orange juicer which is perfect for breakfast.

To be improved

Both Apartments / houses I have booked here have been very dark, I was hoping to have a more light house this time as it had a little private garden but the kitchen / living area was still very dark. The bathroom had an opening in the wall, and all sorts of creatures and mosquitos were coming through, I had to message them about it and they ended up putting a mosquito net from the outside (bizarre that this hasn't been done before though!) However the doors aren't properly sealed from the private garden and we had a few Geckos and lizards enter the apartment and it was a bit of a hassle to get them out. The shower also kept getting blocked and it was leaking everywhere so this is something they need to look at as it also happened on my first stay. I do think overall the apartments are a little bit overpriced for what they offer.

“Beautiful place.”

The best

Lovely place. We stayed in de Strelitzia accomodation. We loved it. We have met the owner he was really friendly. The weather was great, we noticed that other places in La Orotava had much more clouds than here. I think it was because it's closer to Puerto de la Cruz and the coast. You can walk easily to Puerto de la Cruz. There is a nice street art area nearby. Walking back is mostly uphill. Taxi back was only €5. We have some small negative points. The microwave is on the kitchen counter which takes too much space. We asked for 2 hour later checkout. We were the only guests in 11 days but they charge €35 for 2 hours l. That's ridiculous if you compare it with the price of one night. So we checked out at 11.00 but the cleaners were waiting from 10.00 in front of our house. Which was awkward. We would definitely go back again.

“We felt so at home”

The best

We loved the space we had in the apartment. It was clean, modern, and had all the right things. Things like big beach towels to use at the pool, and the washing machine was just what we needed at that point in the trip. Other reviews mentioned noise from the highway, it is there, but in our opinion not in an intrusive way at all. We love the outdoor area, the space, the lizards, the games,the vuew, the lush garden.

“Lovely place”

The best

A beautiful 'hacienda' where you could feel the history of a couple of centuries. Lovely garden with beautiful trees and plants, centered around the pool. Nice veranda to sit and enjoy the place. Excellent bed, adequate kitchen facilities.

To be improved

It's quite near the highway, so you hear some traffic noises. But that was not a big deal for us.

Fast and reliable Internet All was clean and comfortable Helpfull and responsive staff Located adjacent to TF5, which is perfect if you looking for a place with good traffic connections (not to noisy though)

To be improved

Was a little cold on some nights in january, no heater available.
