Hacienda Los Orovales

Your Home is a miracle that happened to us; we felt so cozy and homely warm there. Thank you so much for all recommendations, they helped us to feel our holidays in a special way. We were touched by your attention to our youngest son- a chair for feeding, crib and even towel, it’s so precious🙏🥰 We felt love in every detail, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for everything. Hacienda los Orovales is a beautiful and sympathetically restored house on a banana plantation. Facilities within the accommodation were exceptional as were the views from the lovely private terrace . The views were spectacular and the situation perfect for short trips to the various scenic places around. It is very private and quiet and yet so close to La Orotava and Peurto Cuz.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored hacienda located in a peaceful banana plantation yet within easy reach of the amenities of Puerto de la Cruz. The hacienda provides two apartments and we stayed for two weeks in the two bedroomed ground floor apartment. It was very well decorated, clean, comfortable, and airy. It was lovely to have modern comforts combined with some traditional features like the large glazed and shuttered doors that opened onto the fabulous vista of banana trees, the sea and white buildings of Puerto de la Cruz. The garden area was great for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine. An added bonus is the view of Mount Teide on which a small white cap of snow fell whilst we were staying! Bananas and papaya from the plantation which were a staple part of our breakfast each morning. The access is up quite a narrow, unmade lane but drive slowly, and it's not an issue. The same lane carries on, but no vehicular access, down towards Puerto de la Cruz, and it's a nice walk out in the evening to the restaurants. Lina, our host, was very communicative and provided us with a guide to things to do and restaurants to try. We would recommend staying at this accommodation for a peaceful relaxing holiday.
