“Staff took great care of us, superb location, great facilities.”
We had a wonderful stay in the Halo, for the 2nd time. It rained incessantly throughout our stay and the staff were very helpful, as we spent more time inside than intended. Alejandro, Alex, Olga and everyone took great care of us as we lingered over breakfast and dinner. Facilities excellent, location superb.
“Wonderful!”
We really wanted a traditional style hotel and are so glad we chose this one. The location is amazing, literally minutes away from the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. We opted for a superior room which had a spa bath and huge shower. We really wanted a bath we could soak in as we knew we would be doing lots of walking and we weren’t disappointed. Despite being told there was no hairdryer when I enquired there was a very powerful one in the bathroom so that was a plus. Bathrobes available on request and one was brought up from reception promptly when I asked. The staff were wonderful and it was such a nice touch to be welcomed with a glass of Cava and a WhatsApp message as we landed so we were confident there would be no problems when checking in. Another nice touch was having some complimentary refreshments in the mini bar. The room was spacious and was cleaned each day for the 3 nights we stayed new sheets on one night would have been nice but not a problem really. Breakfast was great with the most fabulous scrambled eggs. Plenty pastries fresh fruits yoghurts etc. The roof terrace was as a nice touch but far too few sun loungers. Would be nightmare in Summer. Would definitely stay again was fab!
“Lovely hotel, great location!”
We generally enjoyed our stay- our room was very very spacious and well looked after, hotel staff were very friendly. The downsides for us were- the cleaning was a bit hit and miss, for example we stayed for four nights, and only after the third night did the room bin get emptied despite being very full; we were not given spare toilet roll and came close to running out one day etc. the only other ‘issue’ I would note is that reception was often very slow- we waited around 15 minutes on two occasions to be spoken to, because there is just one person serving- nothing major but prevents us from giving 5 stars! Would stay here again, Just a few points to note!
“Boutique hotel very near Cathedral and shops in Seville!”
Hotel was right near the Seville cathedral. Everywhere was a short walking distance, very convenient location. Downstairs were some shops next door. At times though, there were loud noises, singing floating up to our room but we got to ignore it. Room size was great. Very expansive and luxurious bathroom with dual vanities, jacuzzi tub and body jets in shower too. We enjoyed the amenities. Unfortunately, no gym or swimming pool. When using the body jets, the shower floor quickly filled up with water. Hotel should look into that cause it can spill over onto the bathroom floor. Overall, we had very nice stay.
“Bad experience poor condition of the room”
Bad experience poor condition of the room. The room is dirty which I cannot imagine in a four-star hotel.
“Hotel ok but not quite the 4* we expected.”
I've just come back from a lovely time away in Seville. The hotel itself is in fabulous location, down a quaint little back street, but it was very noisy at night time with the restaurants just outside. Only a 10 min walk from the bus stop for the airport, everything you want to see in Seville is all within walking distance of the hotel. Just a shame the hotel itself didn't fulfil our expectations. Having travelled all over the world when you stay in a 4* hotel you expect a 4* rating and this sadly lacked especially the breakfast. Every day we had to ask for plates, bowls, cups. The hot food was never hot and one day the coffee machine had broken but no one had done anything about it. The staff were in very short supply in there so understandable but still not what you expect for a 4*. The rest of the hotel was adequate, our room had a terrace which sounded lovely but in actual fact due to the slope was a bit uncomfortable to sit out on. The pool was more like a plunge pool and luckily we were the only ones who used the roof top as there was only enough space for 4 sunbeds. The reception staff were all very helpful.
