“I booked a room for 1 night at HCC when my flight out of Barcelona was cancelled at the last minute. There were many other cancellations and finding an available room in downtown was difficult. The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful during this chaotic time. Our room was comfortable and clean.”

“Good value for the money. Exellent location to explore lot of places on foot.”

Beds was very comfortable. Very clean room. Swimming pool was good too.

To be improved

No ice availale take to the room, no ice machine. No self laundromat on property. Only one chair in the room, two people cant use table at the same time.

“Perfect location with great breakfast”
The best

I loved the location: very easy to get to the airport and train station but both- subway and bus. It’s also close to the beach, and to the shopping area. The staff was very friendly, greeting me every time I entered the hotel and left😃 I also loved that they allowed me to check in and found a room even though I came before my check in time. The breakfast was delicious 🤤 and one of the women at the reception (I’m afraid to misspell her name, so I won’t write it here:D), gave me her own transport card to use for a day! 😇

The best

The staff were particularly friendly - allowing me to practise my Spanish. Choice of rooms given: interior or exterior. Gave me a tray and helped me with calling lift when I carried two drinks and my cup of tea up to room. Instead of the free cava for my daughter, provided her a glass of fresh orange juice instead. Recalled my request for extra pillows and brought them to room without me asking. We didn’t use the plunge pool but it looked inviting. Breakfast was great. Lovely friendly staff there too. Perfect location. Would definitely stay again.

The best

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and once again an excellent stay. Bright, airy, clean and comfortable hotel and rooms, in an excellent location very close to the gothic area. Excellent, pleasant and helpful staff helped to make the stay an absolute joy. Many thanks all. Hopefully see you again soon

“Comfortable hotel”
The best

Very central location, very close to Placa Catalunya and metro station. One can book tours from hotel. Pool area for summer is available. Room was good. However, there was only one window partially overlooking the street. I couldn't turn on the TV in the room. Room was clean with complimentary bottle of water. There was mini fridge in the room. The hotel staff was friendly. A bar is open for drinks in the lounge area. Breakfast was fresh.
