We stayed in this beautiful house for two days with friends to relax in nature, enjoy a barbecue, and hike in the mountains. The house is around 200 years old, which gives it a special historical charm, yet the interior has modern facilities, is comfortable, and very well equipped. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. The owner is a very positive and welcoming person — it was a real pleasure to meet him. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature!

Amazing place with amazing views! Warm and relaxing atmosphere combined with outstanding host! Location is great to explore the area, easy access by car to cost with unbelievable views of cliffs and ocean! Lot of adventure activities around. Views from the house are better than you can even imagine!!

“A Sojourn in Paradise”

The best

The property sits high on a hill with an incomparable view of the mountains of nearby Picos de Europa NP. You will think you have been transported to Shangri-La. The grounds and patio are beautiful and the house is warm and inviting. The owner, Jaime, is one of the kindest and most knowledgable hosts you will ever encounter. He was invaluable in helping us explore the stunningly beautiful areas in the region. The breakfasts prepared Jaime and Luisa are the perfect way to start your day. I can’t recommend Heredad de la Cueste too highly!

The room was lovely, very comfortable bed and the shower had some of the best pressure we've experienced! Perfect view out the window of the surrounding mountains. Exactly what we needed for a peaceful retreat from city life. Breakfast was wonderful, prepared fresh and different each day. Far better than the buffet style breakfasts at chain hotels. The homemade jam and lemon curd were excellent and Jamie even went the extra mile and sourced gluten free bread and cakes. My partner had the homemade cakes and he said they were also delicious. Jamie gave us recommendations on the best activities and was very helpful with his suggestions on where to eat for dinner. Thank you Jamie and family for a wonderful stay, highly recommended to anyone.
