The best

we made a reservation at this hotel for 3 families and a child, reservation for 31.12.2025 with a festive dinner on New Year's Eve. although we communicated with the hotel employees and they confirmed the dinner for 31.12.2025, upon arriving on 31.12.2025 for accommodation, the employees told us that they would not provide us with dinner without notifying us in advance

“Nice hotel; great for skiers”
The best

Breakfast was great The views from the hotel were beautiful. Formigal is a small place, so you could walk to restaurants. There are quit a lot of choices for such a small place. The hotel had a nice lobby bar, lounge, and game room. It was very convenient to rent skis in the lobby, and the price was competitive. The indoor pool was popular on a day when it rained. The internet was good enough to support working online during our stay.

To be improved

The dinner at the hotel was limited while we were there. Be ready for a long, steep walk back from restaurants- definitely doable, but not for mobility impaired. There was nothing to do in town for non-skiers. Even the spa at the hotel was closed until the skiers returned from the slopes at 4:30, which made for a boring day if you did not ski. The fitness room/gym had limited equipment: a treadmill, a stationary bike, 2 ellipticals, and a few hand weights. The ellipticals and bike need to be replaced.

“great little family ski trip”
The best

Its great hotel with friendly staff despite my lack of Spanish, excellent facilities including in -house ski equipment rental. A nicely appointed pool/spa area and very favourably priced bar. We will certainly hope to visit again for another ski trip soon
