Impressive old townhouse, well built, zen decor, homely feel, friendly and helpful owner, rooftop is great.

To be improved

Nothing to complain about, just was a couple of times needed a bathroom and it was occupied, also the bathroom on the 1st floor has a low door, banged my head on it maybe 5 times, pack a helmet if you are tall and not very spacially aware.

“Great location, very basic room, okay for one night stay if looking for a private room & shared bath”
The best

Excellent location. Very very close to ferry port for Tangier. And walkable to Tarifa sights. Good to get a private room (shared bathroom) instead of dorm. Reasonably priced given the location in Tarifa. Kitchen had some common supplies/condiments, cereal, coffee, etc.

To be improved

Steep narrow stairs to reach rooms. Cleaniless of kitchen and some room surfaces not ideal. Bathroom was cleaner, but since you are sharing one bathroom with several rooms, it was a long wait. Note there is no AC, but that was known beforehand. Limited surfaces in the room to keep your stuff. Was hoping to leave luggage for a couple of days while heading to Tangier, but didn't get a response from host.

Lovely hostel with a comfortable home style vibe. So nice to see environmental practices such as recycling, composting and filtered water to refill bottles in place.

To be improved

Lock on front door very difficult to unlock. Both times we used it, someone had to come and unlock from the inside.
