“Nice offerings but outdated decor and let down by Executive Lounge offerings.”

I really wanted to love this hotel as the staff were friendly, I got a lovely upgrade for being a Hilton Diamond and it has an Executive Lounge. However the decor is quite dated - and very very dark - the rooms have a boudoir feel about them and the black surfaces make everything so difficult to see when you put it down. The bed was quite comfy - o plugs were OK - and the bathroom was large with a corner tub in it. Amenities were the usual Hilton stuff. The Executive Lounge was in a different tower to the one I was accommodated in which is inconvenient - I assume because the suites are separate from the Executive Lounge rooms? The Lounge itself was very clinical, again white and black decor. The wine happy hour form 5-8pm was fine - there were spirits, the white wine was very drinkable and there was a rose and sparkling as well as a red. It was the food that let this offering down - a half bagel with avocado spread, some quinoa and a few snack such as crisp. There was cheese but nothing to put the cheese on that I could see. A real shame - all it needed was a hot offering, a samosa, or spring roll and the whole experience would have been better. Breakfast was a good spread - in fact one of the better breakfasts that I have seen recently. Check out was quick and the hotel bus punctual. Overall there were a lot of good things, I just detested the black decor and the executive lounge offering was a little disappointing.

“Great choice for near the Madrid airport”

The best

We spent one night at the end of our two week Spanish adventure and found it to be much better than most airport hotel offerings. It’s a five minute Uber ride (we had trouble finding the shuttle due to the airport’s signage). It’s large with two towers and we stayed in the North Tower and had a room with great views of the city at sunset. The room was good sized (for Europe) and an especially nice bathroom including a tub and shower. Will use it again the next time we’re in Madrid and have an early morning flight.

“Ideal stopover hotel at Madrid Airport”

The best

Easy and efficient shuttle to and from Terminal 4, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has appealing modern design and styling, large entry level room was very comfortable, dinner was good as was breakfast buffet, great choice all round. Would definitely choose if need a short stopover in Madrid in the future.

“Excellent Stay at Hilton Madrid Airport”

The best

I really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed for 5 nights, I don't mind a 20 minute walk to the nearest Metro and it's such an easy arrival and departure from the airport. It's not a big deal to take the free shuttle to the airport and the bus 203 to Atocha for travel to other cities and site. The staff was so friendly and accommodating- My flight arrived ridiculously early and as a Diamond member they were even willing to try to give me a different room than the upgraded Relaxion room I had. Excellent service in the Executive Lounge. I would absolutely stay here again. Loved it.
