Hipotels Barrosa Park

My experience at Hipotels Barrosa Park was extremely disappointing. As a Black young woman travelling for a relaxing break, I expected to feel safe and welcomed, but instead I encountered a series of issues that made my stay very uncomfortable. From the outset, I was constantly stared at, which created an unsettling atmosphere throughout the trip. I frequently felt uncomfortable and at times unsafe. Several German guests made rude and openly racist remarks, and the persistent staring only added to the discomfort. The hotel facilities also fell short. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, which left the room unbearably hot and resulted in a heat rash due to the extreme temperatures. Communication was another challenge, as many staff members only spoke Spanish or German, making it difficult to resolve issues quickly. There were, however, a couple of positives. A waiter named Nicola looked after us exceptionally well and showed genuine care, which was truly appreciated. When we raised our concerns with the deputy manager, he was kind, understanding, and encouraged us to point out the guests responsible. Unfortunately, this wasn’t practical, as the behaviour was widespread. Overall, my stay was far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to travellers who value an inclusive and respectful environment. Significant improvements are needed to ensure all guests, regardless of background, feel safe and welcomed.

Thank you to all the staffs from the time we arrived at the Reception, Room, Facilities, Restaurants/ Food, Bars, the Beach, Entertainments, Services, till the day leaving the hotel... EXCEPTIONAL! Celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary in the hotel was memorable. We make sure if we can, to be in Barrosa Park or Barrosa Palace Hotel every year to celebrate more anniversaries. This is the place for us and very dear to our hearts. It's feels like our 2nd Home! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staffs for their exceptional services: Reception: Luisa, Rocio, Roberto, Antonio, Alvaro & the rest of the Reception team Bar/ Moccacino: Sergio, Antonio and Laura and all the new staffs Restaurants staffs Cleaners/ Chambermaids, greatly appreciated for all your hard work! Location, comfort, staff

Lacking telephone in room. Hair conditioner. Usual accessories, shower cap body cream. No milk, coffee or tea. The usual when stay in a 4/5 star hotel. Bed was hard with terrible bed covers, not enough to keep you warm. We live in Mijas and travel down to Chiclana often. I would recommend this Hotel for small families. We had teenagers.

Location is not bad, like 1,5 h to Seville Airport, but there is a closer airport called Jerez. We booked 3 rooms and had a family vacation there like 10 days. Hotel was pretty good, room were very big and comfortable. Breakfast is nearly perfect every morning and hours are enough to catch. At dinner, honestly it was good evenings and average evenings there. Because of open buffet you can always find something to eat i guess. There is 2 small pools in Hotel, frankly not enjoyed that much, but for kids i think its alright. Beach has most soft sand i've ever seen but generally hotel's greed policy there were some sun loungers (like 20-30 funny) but pre-reservation needed and 18 euros/per person (what the ...?) so we went some shopping for umbrellas, beach rugs and other stuff to lay on the beach. By the way ocean is great but too wavy for some. Lastly, housekeeping ladies were amazing, they deserve much compliments, respected them.
