There is a manager called Mario. He thinks that he owns your hollyday. The worst hotel manager that I have met. Very rood. He is the main reason why I would not go there again

The best

Food selection is excellent. Everything is clean. The hotel has a great location, about 5 minutes from the beach, however, popular beach locations are about 10-15 minutes away

To be improved

It is rather a 4-star hotel than a 5-star one. The air conditioner was locked/broken, making it hard to sleep in the room. The hotel needs a major renovation. There is not a lot of additional value for a 5-star hotel.

“I can summarise my review of the Hipocampo Palace Hotel in 2 words 'Total Excellence' - The location close to the beach with nearby bars and restaurants was excellent. The hotel room was comfortable, immaculate, spacious and well appointed with good sound insulation – no disturbing noises from adjacent rooms – quiet closing mechanisms on room doors. The staff (all - from front desk, housekeeping, restaurants and bars) were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Most seemed fluent in 3-4 languages. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were amazing - huge variety and all tastes catered for. Any return trip to Majorca will most definitely incorporate a stay at this hotel. · Cons: What could have been better - a longer stay!!”
