Cockroaches - I have photos. When I contacted the property owner or manager about the cockroaches, I was told that cockroaches are to be expected in older buildings. I also didn’t like the musty smell as soon as you enter the building. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. They couldn’t be bothered to provide hand soap by the bathroom sink. If you wanted to wash your hands with soap you had to go into the shower to get some from the dispenser. Considering how much I paid per night, this place wasn’t up to North American standards.

The windows face a busy street which could be quite loud even at nights.
