We stayed at the HM Martinique Hotel for 5 days as a family of four and overall we were very pleased with our stay. We had an apartment on the 5th floor with a bedroom, a living room with a kitchenette, and a large balcony overlooking the pools. The apartment was very clean, and towels were replaced daily. Breakfasts were delicious – there was always something for everyone: scrambled eggs, full Irish breakfast, continental options, fresh bread, yogurts, fruits, and very good coffee and juices. The freshly made churros were absolutely amazing! Lunch and dinner were not as good, but you could always find something to eat. When the hotel was busy, the chef at the grill sometimes couldn’t keep up, and the meat was occasionally undercooked because everything was prepared in a hurry. Desserts and cakes were tasty, though the selection was a bit limited. The hotel surroundings are beautiful – well-maintained palm trees, clean pools, and everything kept to a good standard. The indoor pool was a big advantage, especially for the kids, who had lots of fun there during cooler afternoons. We visited in the last week of October and the weather was still lovely. The location is excellent – close to the beach and the main attractions of Magaluf. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Hotel Martinique, Magaluf, expecting a family holiday, and it was an absolute disaster. From arrival, the experience was stressful and chaotic, especially with a 7-year-old. The hotel is not family-friendly at all. It is dominated by people whose main aim is to consume as much alcohol as possible, partying and shouting at all hours. We barely slept the entire week due to constant noise, arguments, loud music, and even a flock of cockerels crowing from 2 a.m. Reception staff were polite, but all other staff were overly strict, rude, and had a terrible tone, making it even more unpleasant. The food and restaurant management were shocking. On several occasions we spent up to 25 minutes in a queue just to get food. Meals were often lukewarm, undercooked, and tasteless, forcing us to eat out most days despite paying for all-inclusive. Drinks are very poor quality – apart from beer, spirits are extremely weak, cocktails are machine-made, and you have to pay 15 euros extra per day for anything better. The one positive is that the hotel is spotless. The cleaners work tirelessly to clear up all the mess left by the partygoers, and their efforts are genuinely impressive. We are a hardworking small family who simply wanted a relaxing break. We have never complained about any holiday before, but this was stressful, exhausting, and deeply disappointing. Do not book here if you are a family. This hotel is a party hotspot, completely unsuitable for anyone looking to rest or spend quality time together. Save your money and book in the near by Melia hotels.

Great location, within walking distance to the beach and town centre. Bus stop to Palma 3min walk from a hotel! Buses regular and on time. Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Good atmosphere in general. My on suite double room was clean and spacious! I'd say very good value for money. High noise level but that's just guests being disrespectful. Nothing to do with a hotel as such. Large dining area with good amount of food selection. I only had breakfast booked and there was plenty to choose from! All in all, I'm very happy with my stay and really enjoyed my holiday! Would recommend!

Pros: Breakfast was amazing - however if you went after 10 pastry and fruit options very limited Staff friendly On site shop has everything you need Sometimes sunloungers were busy but you could always find somewhere Cons: Room was a bit shabby, fridge didn’t close properly We came in mid August before and it was really rowdy, this time there were a few groups playing music but nothing major - seemed to shut up at 11pm Deposit of €20 for a kettle seemed a bit harsh

I have visited majorca 5 times. I even came in June with my family. I normally love staying in palma nova but this was booked 24 hours before. Positive: - Good location, can walk to palmanova and magaluf - Clean communal areas - Reception staff are helpful 7/10 times - Clean pool - Good choice of activities ( Paddle board, football, mini golf and bikes. - Big balcony in rooms Negative: - Food is soooo rubbish. Happy i ate dinner outside. Get bed and breakfast . Wasted my all inclusive. Breakfast is only tolerable meal, tbh cant go wrong with an english breakfast - Snacks are slices of cheese. Interesting as i travel alot and this isnt normal - NEVER BEEN TO AN ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL THAT REQUIRES MONEY for every single activity, pool towel, bar cups , iron, kettle. - 2 pool restaurants available but they expect all inclusive to pay for (AGAIN , never seen this) - They want EVERYTHING in cash but no email has warned us to have cash, then directed to use an atm that charges €5 to take money out. On certain holidays, i rather just use my card everywhere. The cash only should be included in email - If they are going to use sofa covers, should change it often as it had bubbles all over it showing its old n overused. Its not a private house, its a 4* Perfect place for those wishing to party or young group of friends but as a traveller would go elsewhere
