On the third day of our stay, our apartment was robbed during the day while we were not at home. The front door lock was opened with a key or master key. The front door itself and the lock were not broken. Documents, cash, credit cards and personal items were stolen (even panties were stolen). Despite the fact that the apartment has an alarm, it does not work, and the motion sensors are taped over. The apartments are located in a fairly noisy and public area on the ground floor and have a regular front door with a simple, unreliable lock. I do not recommend these apartments if you are concerned about your safety and the safety of your belongings. The theft occured while we were staying in your apartment, and denying this fact does not change what happened, and to suggest otherwise is not only insulting but also dismissive of our experience. We have provided you with the facts as they happened, and your refusal to acnowledge them does not change the reality of the situation. Your attempt to shift blame onto us rather that taking resposibility is deeply troubling. We appreciate that you have informed the police and expect you to take this matter seriously and cooperate fully with the police investigation, instead of casting doubt on our integrity.
