Fantastic location, however noise pollution from revellers throughout the night, and delivery vans very early morning meant for disturbed sleep.

Great location. Good welcome/access communication via email and WhatsApp. Arrived on a Sunday and no issues. Lift available. Very effective air conditioning.

“Really clean apartment in a great location”

The best

The location was just what we had hoped it would be, right in the centre of the old town. Yes it may be a bit noisy but all city centres are. Check in was easy as the host had sent us a video which was a good thing as there were several keypads on the door. On entering the apartment our first impression was that it was spotlessly clean. Everything we could have needed was provided. If you are on holidays and don’t mind a bit of late night noise ( it does stop around midnight) then this is definitely the right apartment. Don’t underestimate the importance of a lift and this building has one. Our apartment was on the 4th floor. We would not have liked to have to climb those stairs with cases or even without the cases after a long day in the city.

To be improved

We couldn’t get the shutters to close properly which meant , that, as there were no curtains on the windows, privacy was compromised…but the building opposite was vacant so it wasn’t a huge issue. The bigger problem was that the light streamed in early in the mornings. In fairness to the host we didn’t bother saying anything as we were only there for two nights .

Location right in the heart of the centro histórico and 2 separate bedrooms perfecto for friends sharing. Easy access due to instructions provided and all the facilities needed for a home-from-home break. We loved this apartment.

To be improved

For a light sleeper the noise from the street below (the necessary closing up/street cleaning) might still disturb a peaceful night. Earplugs recommended.
