The best

The staff and owner are exceptionally helpful, understanding and generous. The location is excellent, at the very centre and metro and buses and restaurants are just steps away but it is still very quiet.

“Extremely Disappointing Stay – Avoid if You Value Hygiene or Sleep”

I am just here to make sure and warn you so that no one experience what we experienced! It was more than horrible accommodation experience! My partner and I booked a room for €170+ per night — a rate comparable to 4-star hotels — but what we received was far below acceptable standards. The room was exceptionally small (approx. 12m², including the bathroom), with no space to move or unpack. The pictures you see in booking.com are completely WRONG. The toilet and sink was located directly next to the bed making sure that the bed gets wet while you wash your face in the 30cm big sink. The toilet, which is a room of 1 by 1 meter and connected to the 1,5 by 1,5 meter shower, has a panel door that in theory could be closed, only not in practice. Cleanliness was also a major concern. The moment we entered the room we found long black hairs everywhere throughout the room - on the bed sheets, floor and in the bathroom (sink and shower). The towels and linens were visibly stained, which was unacceptable! 
We still tried to live with it, but what we had not noticed before and noticed that night coming back to our room was that you could hear every sound in a 50m radius. Noise insulation was almost nonexistent! Hola Rooms is located next to a busy square with homeless that drink beer the entire day, fight and scream. Even when you are inside your room, windows closed, you can hear EVERYTHING from the streets, which went on till 7am in the morning. It is NOT safe!! 
Hola Rooms also let 2 women in their 20s check in at 01.30AM to the room right next to us for a one night stay. We could hear them coming to the apartment door, trying the code at the door several times, opening their room, opening their luggage (the zippers!), all types of bathroom usage and literally every word they spoke and scream. Next morning with 0 hrs of sleep we left the property. Despite calmly explaining the situation, the manager refused any compensation. Do yourself a favor and AVOID HOLA ROOMS!

“It was a very good place to stay and super easy to get to. Both members of staff who I spoke to were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything you'd need. I enjoyed having the coffee maker right in the room for when I was getting ready in the morning. There were nice little touches like some little cakes if you wanted a snack and a carafe of drinking water set up in your room. · Cons: I can't think of anything!”

“Excellent communication, Great AC, comfortable”
The best

We were able to check in our bags early which was amazing and even let us know the room was available early. The AC in the room was amazing they even had a portable AC unit. Washing machine was great to. Really good communication from hosts as well

The shower did go cold at one point. Not a major as it was super hot in Madrid.
