Holiday Cottage Santa Lucía 2

The Holiday Cottage in Santa Lucia was really a nice place to feel at home. We used both bedrooms, one bed could be a bit more firm for our taste. Aside from that we slept really well. The nearby church is not a problem, because it stops ringing after 23:00 o' clock. We were also able to use the BBQ on the second terrace, which we did several times. There is one bakery close to the apartment and a grocery store, which sells nearly everything, although it is very small. Carlos, our host, was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips what to visit on the island. The small town of Santa Lucia was really adorable, very clean and a lot friendly people.

Beautiful house in a beautiful village in the mountains. Great for relaxing, spacious, has 2 sunny terraces.

The town of Santa Lucía de Tirajana is a superb location for walking, hiking or driving in the stunning mountain region of Gran Canaria. The roads through the mountains are mostly in excellent condition and the local drivers are very courteous towards visitors! The mountain drives from Santa Lucia to Tejeda, Teror and Galdar are stunning! The house is located next to the beautiful church and has plenty of parking either right outside of the house or in nearby car parks. It has a typical Canarian character with a spacious, well furnished, and comfortable living area. The large double bedroom has a big bed and ample storage for clothes and there is a nice second, single bedroom. The balcony overlooking the mountains is a delight! Coffee at sunrise and wine at sunset..... The kitchen area has only a two ring hob and no oven, but is otherwise well equipped and there are four restaurants within walking distance so why cook!. Restaurante Rincón Casa Antonio is particularly nice and the other three, Restaurante Mirador Santa Lucía, El guata grill and Cafetería La Caldera De Tirajana are well worth a visit! Tourist areas on the coast, such as Las Palmas, Maspalomas and Puerto de Mogán, are easy to drive to, and well worth the effort. The drive to and from the airport is also easy. Our host Carlos was very helpful and responded to messages almost immediately. I would highly recommend a stay in Santa Lucía de Tirajana and, especially, at Cottage Santa Lucía 1!

We had the most incredible time in Santa Lucia. The village is very cute and far from the most touristic places, perfect if you want to rest. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. The house was very cute and clean. How delightful it was to enjoy the sun on the terrace while refreshing in the pool ! We recommended this location to our families and friends more than any other places that we went to in Gran Canaria !
