Holiday Premium Resort

We are a young hearted married couple mid fifties. Stayed for 5 nights all inclusive sea view room. So will split this into good and bad for transparency Good- hotel was clean, our room was made up every day, smelt fresh. Staff work very hard and friendly. Entertainment staff seem fab with kids lots if dancing and games till 8pm. Taxis are literally outside security gates Bad- a sports group of maybe 30 children aged 11-13moved in on 2nd day and hotel dynamic changed-dining room became a high school lunchhall with food and table mats being thrown,yelling and howling ti each other sauce pots filled and thrown out by pool, game grabber machine was tipped in side to take prizes, staff did nothing and their coaches were oblivious and drinking in bar. Many residents complained including us but behaviour cintinued for rest if our stay Buffet food was incorrectly labelled, as a coeliac its important, apparently watermelon has wheat in it! Food was hot and fresh but repetitive. Our room was 425 which was about the foyer so the evening entertainment felt like it was in our room till 11pm. Would I recommend? No Would i return? No

The hotel is amazing and it has reall clean rooms. A bit disappointed on the food. We stayed for five days and it was pretty much the same menu. Out of all the staff, Faith was the loveliest. Really friendly, polite and helpful all the time.

The Village Hotel is very nice, very relaxed and safe, stayed here with my 6 year old son who couldn't of had a better time. The pool area is fantastic as is the commercial street with the arcade which isn't too expensive at 1e a game. We went all inclusive which I would recommend as the food at the pool snack bar is fine and then you are spoiled for choice in the restaurant at meal times The burger and Italian restaurant didn't open until our last night as the season is only starting. The beach front water park area opened the last day of March and is fantastic for kids, if you are all inclusive it's free entry and free drinks The only thing I would say is that the staff are very slow when serving you, weither it be the shop or the bars, they almost go out of their way to ensure a que builds up, which can be very frustrating The rooms are fantastic, very spacious with a large fridge and large balcony We have booked already for next year

We had a great time here! Hotel is nice and rooms are spotless. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Strange thing was no coffee or water topped up after day 1? This is odd in an all inclusive and never had this before. If you like coffee in the room you have no chance. Rooms are nice and spacious and balcony was same as well as very safe as walled rather than railings which is good with toddlers. The food was fine, I wouldn’t say excellent but there was always something. Gluten free options were good although have to ask for cereal, bread and muffins at breakfast. Drinks and snacks were fine during day. Backed potatoes were hard one day and I did let the girl know they needed cooked more which seemed taken on, it would be a waste otherwise as nobody would eat them rock solid. Entertainment at night was poor, a singer every night which lacked atmosphere as in a foyer of the hotel. It was cold and a strange place when they have an inside theatre for this time of year. Kids disco was decent when entertainers came and the guy with the head tie was the best, lively and remembered kids names which was nice. Pool was good if a little cold but kids didn’t mind. Didn’t know the water park would be closed as wasn’t told this when booking. If you walk 10 minutes left there is a little beach which was nice. 10 minutes the other way you are in Fuengirola which is lovely. Anyone who says you can’t walk anywhere is lazy 🤣🤣 you certainly can. We also took Uber a few times and it was cheap and reliable. Hotel security is very good and secure. Reception are nice and helpful as was the staff at the Tui desk. We didn’t have any issues when we were there. Would go back again but think they could do with a few things improving to make it a really positive experience! We have stayed in 4 star before which was slightly better even out of season. Felt a litttle like they were Skeleton staff

Hotel lovely rooms are clean spacious. Pool area great life guards were brilliant helped me out as I cut my foot open. Well the food lovely plenty to choose from had chicken wings and spare ribs burgers pizza Chinese Sunday lunch plenty of salad cheese dessert not sure why people were complaining. Lager cruzompo and Bailey were lovely

Stayed at Holiday World Village in Benalmádena recently and overall had a mixed experience. High points: The room was really nice and big with lovely views, which we were happy with. The bar staff were also lovely and always friendly, which made a difference to the stay. Low points: The hotel itself feels quite dated and could do with some updating. Check-in took over 40 minutes and our room still wasn’t ready when we got there, which wasn’t a great start. The food was good on the first night, but after that it wasn’t great and became a bit disappointing. We also had issues with the air conditioning — it wasn’t working, and even after complaining on the first night and again to the holiday rep, we were only given a fan on the second last night of the holiday, which wasn’t ideal. We were also only given a bin for the room on the last day, which was strange. The animation team were very lacklustre and there wasn’t much going on. There is only one main pool area, which was always full, so if you didn’t get a sunbed early, there was nowhere to really sit in the sun or use the pool. Finally, the entertainment was pretty terrible. I understand it’s not peak season yet, but the hotel was still busy and there really wasn’t much to keep people entertained. Overall, some positives with the room and staff, but quite a few negatives that affected the experience.
