Holytom Puerto Pollensa

Bedroom 1 Has no air conditioning and in peak season it’s difficult to sleep. The agent provided fans but these were too small to make any difference. We also had an unpleasant smell of dampness caused by a faulty bathroom. There is a safety deposit box which is really handy. The wardrobes are fine and provide good hanging, but could certainly do with being replaced. Bedroom 2 This room has another double bed and a single on top. Again no air conditioning so we found it difficult to get any sort of decent sleep. This room had good wardrobe space but the part of the room is used as a sort of dumping ground for clothes dryers, high chairs etc. These items should be in some sort of storage unit and only brought into the flat when requested by those renting it. Bedroom 3 It’s actually not really a bedroom, more of a large cupboard. The bunk beds fit into the room but there is no storage or hanging space. There is a small wardrobe but that is used by the agent to store the cleaning products for the flat, which again has an unusual odour. If you like sleeping in a cupboard and living out of your suitcase this is the room for you. Bathroom Absolutely not fit for purpose and should have been fully replaced years ago. The shower pretty much leaked every time we used it. The agent sent a cleaner round with a sealant gun on day 7 of our holiday. The following day is leaked again. This has led to the door being covered in mould and the door frame is rotting away. We used all our towels keeping the floors dry so in turn we spent a fair bit of time washing towels, not really what you want to do on your holiday. There is also an issue with the toilet cistern which causes it to run constantly. There seems to be some sort of tank than needs refilling constantly, which it does throughout the night, again making sleeping difficult. Overpriced for what is essentially basic accommodation but the agent did provide us with compensation.

We were completely satisfied with our stay and had no complaints at all. Everything met our expectations, . We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We were quite disappointed with the quality of the apartment. In reality it is much smaller than the photos, dark and in need of quite a bit of TLC (shower is borderline falling apart). Some very basic provisions like bin bags, a sponge or cloth for wiping the kitchen surfaces would've also been appreciated.
