“The place is very comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The AC works perfectly and everything functions well. It’s on the 4th floor in a very quite street, and it’s very close to the metro station. The location is perfect. I highly recommend it. · Cons: There are really minor things that are not that important but should be noted nonetheless: 1. The shower drain is a bit slow (water doesn’t go down quickly) 2. The elevator sometimes works only from the third floor, so had to go down and up 1 floor, which is not a big issue. 3. The wall that separates the apartment from the next-door apartment is a bit thin and you can hear the neighbors (it seemed like there was a piano and sometimes they used to play). However, these were honestly very minor issues. I highly recommend the place because it is great!”

“I did like the space & setup of the flat. Accessibility to the metro & main road were also enjoyable when planning things to do around the city center, day & night. Security into the building was sufficient. · Cons: The shower would not drain quickly, the A/C in the main room would drip water at 21C, the kitchen was prepared with utensils but not supplies for cooking like oil, salt, pepper, aluminum foil, coffee pods for the machine, etc. Only 2 rolls of TP were left for 5 nights stay with 2 people.”

“Relaxed stay in a big noisy city”

The best

The apartment is very well located, within 10-20 min walking of most of the important destinations (Sol, Gran Via, Prado, Retiro and the Botanic Garden, other major museums such as Reina Sofia or Thyssen-Bornemisza, Plaza Mayor and so on. Metro station (line 1) next door. Big enough for two to feel very comfortable (especially given the size standards in major cities. Very quiet (bedroom with an interior view), even unbelievably so if you ever spent a weekend in Madrid center. Have (almost) everything you may need for your stay. Excellent service (thank you very much Eduardo!) - check-in, check-out, communication, info about the area, all was absolutely top.

To be improved

More a suggestion than criticism: a few small touches would lead to almost perfection. Example: just two capsules of coffee, a little bit of salt / pepper / oil, definitely a cork screw if someone likes to have a glass of wine in the apartment.

“Mixed - great potential but a few key things spoilt it.”

The best

Fantastically equipped apartment in a ideally positioned location. However there was a really strong bad smell in the building entrance lobby lift and landing area, which seemed to seep into the hallway area of the flat at nighttime. The hot water tank is insufficient in size to provide enough for any more than 1.5 - 2 minutes for a shower, so with two of us there, the second person either has to have a cold shower or wait for an hour for it to warm up.
