Homely Apartments Calle Apolo

Very old apartment... Not well cleaned...

-check in was hell, I had to collect the keys about 40 minutes walk from the flat itself, in a little safety box in the middle of the street I had to call the host when I got to the safety box, so she could tell me the code. My phone was about to die, there were 38 degrees it was hell the air conditioner is a joke, it is an old appliance and barely puts out a bit of air, totally useless. No other fan or similar. Windows are South facing, the heat was unbearable, I ended up buying a fan from the bazar. Terrible smell of cigarettes when I arrived, I complained to the host but she said "it is normal, some people smoke even if it's not permitted!" -What the heck? The pictures are heavily filtered, this flat is in serious need of TLC- it's old and sad. Last but no least- the noise at night!!!!!!!! Drunk people walking up and down the street under my window, all night-shouting, talking loudly. I haven't had a proper night sleep for 5 days, this flat ruined my holiday and I think booking.com should look into other heat was seriously unbearable, they MUST update the aircon or someone will die in that flat!!!!!(you can't leave the windows open because the heat gets in and it's sunny all day
