Cockroach infestation and the people at Homefun didn’t reply to any of my messages until after they knew we’d left the place. Horrible experience!!

At the time of our stay there was no hot water in the room, the stove for cooking did not work.

1) the washing machine doesn’t work. The clothes were only half wet after a round of washing. We booked this as we needed the washing facilities 2) there is water leaking from upstairs by the entrance door, why we not told about this at check in? This put out safety at a very high risk. What if we had slipped and had a fall? 3) the electrics tripped at 1am the day we moved in so we have no electricity till about 8/9am. We tried to turn the switch back on and it kept tripping. 4) we were not given an in case of emergency number so we have been stuck as no one is picking up the office number no the WhatsApp number that messaged. 5) we were told we couldn’t check in early as the apartment needed cleaning but when we came back after 3, there was dust everywhere and the floors were dirty. They greed for us to drop our bags early and charged us €20 for this ‘service’. We were only told it was cash only upon arrival. What if we didn’t have cash on us? Why were we not told about it before when they were messaging me. 6) the cleaners had the audacity to turn up before our check out time and knock! Why? We were still occupying the space and have never had this before. Why don’t think it’s ok to disturb your guests? This has been by far the worst experience we have had in short stay accommodation and I’ll be reporting this to the portal owners as after paying for the services it shouldn’t be such poor quality. If you’re going to stay there, do so at your own risk
