Unsafe as the stairs is wobbly and stiff - SAFETY HAZARD. Upstairs has a gap connecting in between the stairs - SAFETY HAZARD. The toilet/shower have molds everywhere. The management didn’t returned after asking for an excessive deposit. Check-in opens at 1500hrs until 2000hrs. However, as we weere a family with a kid and an infant, the accommodation scheduled the checked it were asked to come in to check in at 1900hrs in which we ran 15mins late due to transport availability. The care taker is obviously under pressure as he was apparently to go to another property. So he asked for tax payment, and asked for 300.00 Euro’s Deposit which is fishy but was advised that we will be able to get it back as soon as we text the management number upon check out (photographic evidence available). Upon check out we followed up immediately for the deposit to be returned in which they never reply to our messages nor pick up our phone calls. 24hrs later we are advised that they will NOT RETURN THE 300.00 Euros due to the kick was left at the door and not somewhere. Apparently they have to call Locksmith and get the cleaners to return as they cannot open to the door due to key being stucked at the door. I stronh advised any future traveller not to engage in any form of business accommodation to HOMENFUN business accommodation in which this addressed they looked after. I am seeking assistance through booking.com to take further action regarding the management of this property as we are clearly disappointed. We felt safe in Barcelona until we are in this predicament.
