I booked this hospedaje for one night as I walked El camino de Madrid. When I walk the camino I am digital-detoxing, so I carry no electronic devices. Imagine my horror when I arrive and cannot enter the property, no further than the vestibule. There were two phone numbers to call for assistance: one did not function, the other received no answer. There was an intercom button on a door for assistance: it too failed to function. Another traveller tried to call for me, again, without success. I had a reservation but nobody was there, in person, nor by telephone. I had no choice but to go to another hotel. The Juderia hospedaje sends a code to your email, to open a box, which contains an envelope, inside of which is a key, which can open a door, etc...on the day of arrival only. And to think the property had the nerve to send me an admission form, for me to fill in with my details, which is surely their job, not mine. I did it, and still, I could not enter. I wish for a refund but I am not hopeful. Dialogue with the host, which only began after repeated exchange of messages with Booking, has so far proven to be fruitless. Given the recent power outtage which affected all Spain, I believe La Judería needs to rethink its policies.

“Small neat rooms”

Located right next to the cathedral, the accommodation was perfect for it's purpose. Bed was comfortable and easy check in / check out process. A little aged but clean.

To be improved

Instead of blankets it would be better to have duvets (quilts) for which the covers can be washed easily. The bedding (sheets and pillow case) were clean.
