“Nice room, simple but good breakfast, little walk to town. About 6 minutes. Little pool. No staff. If you don't have Internet, you can not get into the hotel. · Cons: It is a shame. With a bit of effort and care, this could be a nice boutique hotel. Also : as mentioned by other reviewers, the fridge in the room is broken.”

Nice room, simple but good breakfast, little walk to town. About 6 minutes. Little pool. No staff. If you don't have Internet, you can not get into the hotel.

Friendly helpful staff. A nice room in good condition. An historic building.

To be improved

The air con was not man enough to chill the room (it was a hot day). The small fridge in the room didn't work. The swimming pool needed cleaning, the surface had lots of floating bugs which stopped me taking a cooling dip. If you are on a large motorcycle, the public parking area outside is difficult. Very steep, uneven, loose cobbles, and easy to get blocked in by parking cars (as happened to me). If you are infirm or not in good health the hotels location at the top of a hill could be a problem.

It’s history and location on our trip. Also the large authentic superior room with terrace.

To be improved

There was only 1 member of staff who didn’t speak a word of English and made no attempt to translate. No menu for breakfast so no choice.

“Awesome place to stay !”

The best

Great value for money. Awesome scenery and surroundings. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially the cleaning lady. Plenty of free parking in front of property. Everything was great. Highly recommendable !!!
