Our arrival at the hotel coincided with the Spanish electricity outage! Initially the doors to the hotel wouldn’t open - same with the bedroom doors. But the very apologetic owner and his wife managed to open the front door so we could leave our luggage. We left them to sort out the problem and when we returned they had managed to open the rooms. Later in the evening the power had been restored, and we had a very comfortable night in the hotel. The next morning we were offered breakfast, and when we went to pay the owner refused payment and again apologised for the inconvenience. So kind ☺️

To be improved

Had there been power we had planned to eat at the hotel restaurant, which has a great menu and reputation. We’d like to return to sample the food as well as the lovely hotel.
