Hospedium Hotel Sky Blu Sondika

We stayed there during a road trip at spain. There is free parking but very limited. The room was good. The breakfast was basic but enough There is a Bus stop at the front of the hotel, but we did not tryed. Far from the city and not an option if you are expecting to be near the city center.

A lovely hotel close the airport in a small town with a couple of bars. The bus stops directly outside for the 15 min ride into Bilbao. My room was a double and it was very comfortable. The aircon didn't work so it was pretty hot. I was with two friends and only one of us had Aircon. The single room. The hotel had a bar but no restaurant you could only have very basic pizzas. It's good value if you want to stay near the airport or be close to Bilbao without the extortionate hotel prices there.

We wanted a nice hotel within easy reach of Bilbao and the Airport. We were disappointed not to have coffee and tea in our room . The cost of a cold buffet breakfast was unjustified . The poorly promoted restaurant which we only discovered on our second night was excellent and good value.

We arrived and within minutes there was a power cut. We had booked two rooms but were unable to get in one of the rooms, so we stayed in one room. I had my 3 children with me who were all terrified as the room was pitch black. After eventually calming them and getting them to sleep me and my husband had to stay awake all night as we had a early flight and weren't able to charge phones to set the alarm. My reason for travelling was to see my mum who had been rushed to hospital so having no phone to hear any news caused me a great deal of distress and making arrangements for the next part of our travel impossible. We tried to complain to reception but English wasn't understood. The hotel has been emailed but ignored. Absolutely disgusting way to be treated

We stayed here for 1 night whilst driving from the UK to Portugal, this being our first stop after getting through France as quickly as possible. On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming, the receptionist came outside with me to show me where to park my car; a decent free car park is available right by the hotel itself. Inside the establishment is clean and well presented but could do with a bit of an update, it’s a bit retro but pleasant enough. There is a decent bar and eating area available. We weren’t hungry so bypassed evening meal but enjoyed a decent continental breakfast the next day. The room was again a bit dated but everything was clean and worked, the bed was quite comfortable but the air con struggled to keep the room at a decent temperature for sleep. Based on this experience I would totally recommend this hotel for a night or few nights if on a short break to visit Bilbao or whilst passing through; however if you’re considering a longer stay I think you’d find more comfortable, up to date places.
