The best

Very very very nice experience. Great hotel in historic building. We where pampered from the first until the last moment of our stay. Super friendly staff and servers in the restaurant. The food was delicious. Not cheap but weird every euro. The room, cosy and the best bed experience we ever had. The special menu with pillows was amazing. Our next visit in Cordoba is already planned ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent Hotel with a marvelous staff. Marcos at the Front Desk was exceedingly helpful and professional. Carmen and the team in the restaurant were awesome. The hotel room was beautiful and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend and will stay when we return

“Awaited vacation days in Hospes Palacio del Bailio”

The best

We were 3 couples traveling from Miami and were so exited for our stay of 3 nights. Booked thru Amex concierge Fine Hotels & Resorts and how could anything go wrong. As I read the reviews for the days of our stays I can concur with all the companies that jaded the amazing property as venues for there corporate holiday parties: we too picked the property for the sole reason to enjoy the hotel and all it has to offer. But during our stay every nook and cranny was buzzing with corporate events, all rooms occupied even the main restaurant for days, no breakfast lunch or dinner allowed to patrons of the hotel due to events all week. Disappointed to say the least. But it’s the season and only wish we would have been informed before hand that the hotel property will be limited and out of reach for us during our stay. We ate dinner sitting at the bar twice and did all but the last breakfast at the side dining room. But we made the best of it. Thank you to ROSARIO JESSICA and all the Bellmen that were such sweet hearts and felt our discontent but always had a smile and so gracious. Carlos, thanks for the attempts to accommodate us. You tried your best. Shall we return and try again!! Maybe

A beautiful hotel, well appointed, perfectly located with friendly attentive staff. Quiet orange blossom fragranced garden and sheltered courtyard. Very good breakfast with lots of local specialties. Highly recommend.

“This place is amazing”

The best

Just an awesome place to stay - in fact in hindsight we wished we had booked our trip schedule would have allowed us the flexibility to stay an extra couple nights. A fantastic property that should be #1 on anyone's list to stay at. While not super central to the main sights, its only a 5-10min walk and being away from the hustle and bustle was nice. I highly highly highly recommend this property

We stayed at Hospes Palacio del Bailío in Córdoba. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the location is excellent — truly one of the highlights of the property. However, several aspects of our stay did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. Our room was quite small, especially the bathroom. It was not designed for taller guests — even with average height, it was difficult to sit comfortably on the toilet due to the lack of space. There was also ongoing reconstruction in the hotel that we were not informed about before arriving. Unfortunately, this meant noise and some dust around the property. The spa was the most disappointing part of the stay. It was extremely noisy, and you could clearly hear people talking and construction sounds even during the massage, which made it hard to relax. Although the masseuse was excellent, the overall environment felt chaotic — someone even opened the door twice during the massage, which was very uncomfortable. The hammam-style bath they advertise was also underwhelming and not worth the time. Overall, Palacio del Bailío is a beautiful hotel with a lot of potential, but our experience didn’t reflect a true 5-star standard. With better attention to guest comfort, soundproofing, communication about renovations, and spa management, it could be wonderful — but sadly, during our stay, it fell short.
