“The host is a bit of a con”

The host insisted on a 100 euro cash deposit upon arrival and said she would return the amount to my card after 14 days. It sounded a little unreliable, but we had had a long day of driving, so we just went with it, and sure enough, she never returned my deposit. After 14 days, I emailed her and asked about it, and she asked for bank account information via email. I dont know about anyone else but I've NEVER been asked for my bank account information from any booking.com hostal or guest house and she never mentioned needing any bank account information at all when she took the deposit, she just said it would be returned. The whole situation is highly suspect. Disappointed. I paid 155 euros total for an incredibly underwhelming space, wish I would have taken that 155 euros and spent the night somewhere that was actually nice.

Tho i payed, they did not let me in. They said the minimum age to stay is 35. Im 26 so they did not let me in, i lost my 100 €
