“Decent Hotel with Amazing Location”
Amazing location right off the town hall plaza! We came here to see what Carnival was like, and we hit the jackpot! This hotel is close enough to be able to come back to the room for a jacket, but not in the middle of the noise. 10 min. walk from train station. Bring earplugs because any nearby noise travels. I could hear the maids in the morning, trying their hardest to be quiet. I could hear locals conversing in the street below. We had a twin room, 106, so it was on a side street that people didn't use much. All the front desk attendants were friendly and helpful, but none spoke English. Towels were thick, but beds a little firm. Lots of hot water, large closet, and outlets by the beds. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby after we checked out. I loved the keypad locks so we didn't have to carry a key. I'm giving this hotel 4 stars because of several things: 1. No soundproof, thin walls & windows 2. No English 3. The twin room was sold out, so I was forced to book a triple room for a higher price; but when we checked in, we were given the tiny twin room for the price of the triple. When I asked the front desk about it, he said he couldn't move us to a triple room, and he couldn't refund the difference. 4. Cannot flush toilet paper 5. No sign to label the substance in the shower. We didn't know if it was soap or shampoo. 6. No liquid hand soap at sink 7. Dated bedding; need fluffy duvets 8. Only 1 long pillow on twin beds which left a hard wooden headboard to put your head against if you wanted to sit up in bed. (Need 2 pillows.) 9. Room too small to have 2 carry-on suitcases open on the floor.
“A very pleasant experience”
They don’t do breakfast but there are plenty of eating places right next to the hostal. Everything is in easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there again.
Nothing to dislike
“Good location, enjoyable stay”
We stayed for 2 nights in August, the location was good, just off the main square. Yes the hotel is dated & the bedroom & bathroom needs an update but the air con worked, the bed was comfy & the staff friendly. We would stay here again if we visit Cadiz

“The hotel is centrally located, and the staff is excellent. We were in Spain on the day of the power outage. Despite this misfortune, they were very helpful. It's a relatively old building, but there aren't any new ones in central Cadiz anyway. While the room amenities could be improved, I'd stay there again. I'd like to thank the receptionist again.”
