“Relaxing stay in convenient, modern location”
The best

I arrived soaking wet from driving through the rain and the friendly receptionist, Alba, gave me access to my room right away, even though it was hours before the check-in time. I could take a nice hot shower to warm up and hang up my clothes to dry. There is a clothes drying rack in the room, which was very convenient. Alba was very helpful also providing information about what to do. The room is a good size, modern and has a great shower. The location is great for exploring Cabo de Gata. Next door is a Mexican restaurant with great food.

“My stay was excellent and I would come back.”
The best

The staff, Dorina and Alba, were very professional and caring. The location of the hostal is good to move with the car to everywhere. It is quiet area and I had a comfy big bed so I had a good sleep. And it is clean.

To be improved

Rooms need a kettle. I stayed in May and in the morning there was not possible even take a coffee from a coffee machine.

“An absolute gem”
The best

This hostal is an absolute gem. Firstly, I have never encountered such genuinely friendly and helpful reception staff. The rooms are excellent, more like a boutique hotel than a reasonably priced hostal. The beds are very comfortable, I slept much better than at home! Very clean and well located, close to San José and the rest of the park but with bars and restaurants in walking distance. The adjacent Mexican restaurant is superb also.

To be improved

It is a minor thing but I mentioned that the bed side lights are a little too bright and also a fridge would be lovely in the room, but for this price that is far from essential.

“It was a nice experience.”
The best

It was clean, the staff was kind. The room was well designed, the bed was very comfortable. We were there during the power outage and they gave us water and candle and asked us if we have everything and informed us where to go in emergency.
