Right from the entrance, there was a dead cockroach, which immediately gave a terrible first impression. The room smelled bad, there was hair in some parts of the floor, and the towels were dirty. On top of that, underneath the bed sheets, the mattress had something like tiny stones on it , as you can also see in the photo I’ve uploaded, and was a bit slanted when you lay down. The soundproofing was terrible as I could clearly hear conversations from the next room, even their phone ringing This place was filthy and completely unacceptable.

“Nothing · Cons: it was horrible, there were cockroaches the size of a finger running around the room, I had several panic attacks about it, I have a video! there was no hot water in the shower! there was no wifi! it was so noisy all night that we couldn't sleep and the floor was very dirty!!”

“The perfect hostel experience!”

I was genuinely surprised by this hostel—in the best way! I booked one of the rooms with a private bathroom, and given the price and central location, I was bracing myself for something more basic, like other hostels I’ve stayed at in Spain. But this place totally exceeded my expectations. The room was simple but spot-on. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was just right. The shower, in particular, was a standout—with proper hot water and excellent pressure. Such a treat! What really made it for me, though, was the balcony. It was spacious enough to pull a chair out and soak up the afternoon sun as it set over the street—just magic. And bonus: not a peep from other guests at night. It was incredibly peaceful, and I had the best night’s sleep.
